Has anyone driven both? Does the Sedan handle as well as a coupe?

Is there a huge weight difference? I am yet to own either but have driven many a coupe and loved the way they drive - felt.

Any opinions / info would be tits!

there is less leg room in the back of a 4 door to a 2 door.

so no real point of having a 4 door really

How does this work?

What are the main differences?

I too hate the tail lights. But I like that there is less of them than coupes. I like the obvious benefits I will get from 4 doors. Probably save on insurance costs ect..

I was just asking for some actual feedback of people who have worked on or owned sedans as we have all been in or driven a coupe...

Thanks for your opinions.

4 doors are more rigid, correct?

Having owned a 4 door, and driven numerous coupe's -

Driving experience is virtually identical, sedans will be the first to give up the handling game due to the weight - but they still handle freaking well. Mine was more fun around corners then in a line actually.

I personally feel like there is more room for the driver in a coupe because Nissan never had to worry about getting 2 doors and seat behind the driver on the same floor plan. You are nowhere near as big as me so wont be an issue either way.

4 door = less cop attention for sure, and they look damn good when done right.

Asides from that there is no real difference. Both have torque monster rb20's, 4 pot brakes, lsd diff etc etc

Well it'll be a daily TJ so as long as im comfortable im happy. Handling can be helped with Coilovers and extra power can be helped with a 25 and big turbo ect...

I prefer a laid back driving opsition so hopefully I do fit in the fucking thing. If the sedan is smaller than the coupe I may have trouble.

Thanks again.

does the coupe have a shorter wheelbase then the sedan?

if so there would be some handling factors that would slightly change

and yeah 32 gtr seats/rails makes a big difference, sit you alot lower then standard seats too.

I haven't driven a coupe but I own a 4dr. Going from an s13 to a 4dr I got quite excited the first time I took passengers because I didn't have to get out to let them out. Mine is my daily, has cusco and ohlin coilovers and it handles extremely well.

As said, the wheel bases are the same. It's an awesome daily.

Ive also got a 32 sedan. i cant really pick much difference between the sedan and coupe apart from cosmetics. its already been stated the fact of less leg room. You do get less attention from police than if you had a coupe.(when i got pulled over they didnt even know it was a skyline)

i had a four door also and it handled great, not all turbo's had 4 pots either, earlier ones were factory turbo and didn't have 4 pot brakes or abs, easy and cheap upgrade though obviously
and who gives a fuck how much rear leg room it has, you ever gonna sit in the back seat?
i've never sat in the back of any of my cars so as far as i'm concerned, if someone wants a lift, they put up with the legroom or lack thereof :)
and if you wanna fuck in the back seat, get a ute haha, or a 68 impala...could almost lay down in the back of mine and i'm not small haha
