Hi Guys
Ive heard mixed stories about both.
Which is the best/preferred type of blasting?
I need my rims done, will be painting them after this.
Thanks

SAND REMOVE`S everything,
Soda remove`s paint but NOT the protective coating on steel`s IE you can have it SODA Blasted & not WORRY ABOUT RUSTING for some 9 month`s so i was told by them ,as iam looking at having some door`s done.

Work/have worked At a restoration shop. Soda blasting is good if u just want to remove paint. But if like most old cars they have rust. it needs to be sand blasted. As for rims personel choice I guess.
I have sand blast 2 or 3 that have been soda blasted, that then required sand blasting. So a bit silly paying for the same job twice
