9.30pm - An overwhelming end to an underwhelming contest really. Green did what he had to, and although Siaca said he had come to fight, he did not put up much.

9.25pm - Three or four crushing overhand rights literally beats Siaca into submission. GREEN WINS IN THREE.

9.23pm - Round three starts and Green has Siaca in the corner early - a barrage but the Chilean survives.

Then a clash of heads has the Chilean rocking. He complains and walks away but is not happy.

Green comes again and has him over ... AND THE REF COUNTS HIM OUT.

9.19pm - Siaca very wary of giving Green room to swing, and lands a solid hook. Then warned by the ref for hanging onto the arm and then BANG - Green lands his first shot in anger and drops Siaca.

He gets up on eight and covers up..but the champ is coming.

9.16pm - Siaca is better than Roy Jones - we have the proof. Roudn two...

Got stopped and questioned by cops as we left... was a good night out.

Was a bit disappointed that Danny didn't have an after party this time round, but he was pretty pissed off and in a bad mood when he left Challenge Stadium, so fair enough I guess... We ended up heading to Voodoo Lounge for the rest of the night.

Looking forward to the next fight which will be in Melbourne or Sydney later in the year.

It seems to me that Green doesn't really stand a chance of proving himself as one of the best when he takes on these half assed people. It could even be said that RJJ wasn't really in the fight, just looking for some coin, but regardless DG has put them both on hole within the first 3 rounds and that speaks for itself.

It would be rewarding from a spectators point of view to actually see DG vs someone who will stand tall and go punch for punch. Every undercard fight went the whole way to decision as well which sucked. Maybe I'm just used to UFC knock outs.

Good on Danny for taking the win. I hope the next competitor doesn't bitch out and spit the mouth guard out when he cops a hit and decides he doesn't want to end up laid on the canvas in front of the crowd.

Is super middle weight the division he fought Mundine?

I can't be sure but it would appear to me that when he shreds those kgs he is not at his best fighting style. Something's gotta give and losing that weight obviously costs him his power.

If he knows he is powerful and comfortable to fight at cruiser weight (which he is proving he is) then why change it? Except for the fact that no-one wants to fight him. I don't see why he should be dropping weight and putting weight on to go and fight everyone, if people want to challenge him then stack/shred kgs and fight him in cruiser weight. If not then he may as well hang up the gloves again, he's made enough out of the last couple of fights.
