The church by far. No tax. Not alot of overheads and they can charge like a strip club for members to have sex with the alter boys

I see what you did there. :p

But true, religion is the biggest controlled system simply for the use of manipulating the population to believe in a set of ideals that are common sense in most part while maintaining a delusionary view of a "God" because people are scared to take responsibility into their own hands and would prefer to blame and congratulate something that doesn't exist for their fuck ups and good-doings.
Funny how every Easter/Christmas stories of paedophilia come out, about time though the Pope got done for "forgiving the wrong and asking for it to stop because he has no idea that it goes on."
Fuck I hate religion.
No offense to anyone though that believes in it, everyone has their own view and is entitled to it. :)

Unless their opinion is wrong :shake:
I fully believe ,but to me its not like a religion ,"if your bad god will punish you" ,thats bullshit . alot of people have a misperception of christianity, thinking its like the Simpsons show it or currupt old men shagging little boys.
But this is my own view and like shifted said own opinion.
Unfortunely there are people making a fool of themself and in it for the money and "brainwashing" people. It makes me /sadface to hear stuff like that.

meh anyone who denies themselves the pleasures in life (like premarital sexytime, beers, stripclubs, partying etc) in order to keep some mythical being happy even though there is ZERO evidence that said mythical overlord exists is a fool... who i pity!
but i guess some of the weaker minded people out there need to believe in something greater thats looking out for and guiding them i guess .... but when you come knocking on my door with your pamphlet and say you want to help me stop getting offended when i say sure the front yard needs weedin godboy!

@nang3, I wouldn't call people weak minded for believing in it. There are plenty of people that believe in religions without fitting a particular stereotype. IE. 4doorzilla believes in a religion, however he doesn't seem to conform to the general consensus that most people bag out.
There are plenty of religious people out there that too have said what 4doorzilla has said about people getting "brainwashed" - they would be the weaker minded I suppose.
I do enjoy seeing doors get slammed into the faces of those people that walk around and knock on doors preaching. LOL
Religion threads are never a good thing on any forum, as some people get offended, others take it too far, etc.. just as wars start from differing religious views, there is never such thing as a reasonable discussion on religion. For the record, the article wasn't even about religion specifically.
So I'm going to close this one before it does escalate.
