coming home from uni this arvo, got off the fwy, fuel light had come on this morning, thought "yeah, i'll stop in at BP and grab some fuel", had a 20 in my wallet, all sweet.

chucked in 20 bucks of Ultimate, went in to pay for it....lady approaches me just as i pay "excuse me sir, may i have a word?"
"yeah, sure.....?"

"i see you just filled up with BP Ultimate....we're running a promotion as we've just sold our millionth litre of BP Ultimate, and i'd like to offer you some free fuel in return for us taking some photos of you for some promotional material and using your image"

"yeah, cool, no worries!" i'm thinking great, a free 50 dollar voucher or something, maybe a hundred if i'm lucky - nope, i've won A YEARS WORTH OF FREE FUEL (ie 52 x $50 vouchers, only valid for BP Ultimate)!!!!

I work @ bp (on weekends) and I never heard about any such competition.. if I had... I would have been sneaky and organised for someone i know (i.e. me!) to win lol



I remember ages back they had a Lord of the Rings competition.. buy a schweppes drink and get a lil ticket thing to rip open..
we had so damn many of the friggin tickets just to get rid of them we put them in a basket on the counter for anyone to take.. so some smart arse lil 7 yr old comes in. takes a handful.. walks outside and opens them... 5mins later comes back in and asks for the 1K he just won from the ticket
*grumbles* I must have opened about 5000 of the fuckers looking that one !!
