Brilliant cruise until on leach highway a r33 skyline put it's nose well and truely up my arse... Typhoon fucked again, missed deano by a whisker.

Well i was the only other silver 33 and i got past before the crazy driving started, so i guess it was him.
Was a good cruise like we usauly get from uncle mick, shame about the mr2 snaping parts but was a fun night.
and fuck that white ute is awsome to watch on boost,same with the mr2.

Sigh! it was me. Just checked the aftermath I managed to leave a 26 meter skid and I was only doing 60 when everyone hit the anchors :\ would love to have a word with that taxi... I was under the impression r33 s2 have abs? as far as I know the damage isn't to bad and should be getting fixed.

Time for the newbie to do some some light shedding.

I was in the s14, behind the 180 which was behind the mr2 at the lights, and the white xr6 behind me.

Last things i really know were seeing the mr2 and 180 stoped, me stoping only just, the mr2 and 180 crawling forward,

Then looking in the rear view and the white xr6t comming up my arse hard on the brakes, me crawling forward, about to go into the emergency lane then "4lturbo" taking that option away from me,

Then looking in the rear and the white xr6 had slowed/ stoped, i moved hastily and then the bang, he got made and was comming at me, so i took off bigways.

Barley noticed the taxi as i was on the anchors from word go. Stupid pingpingpingping but!

Fucking unlucky, that that happened as i had so much fun till then, then i backed off for the rest, but still a great small cruise with decent runs and other decent nice people, was tops!

whats a pingpingpingping :\ from what I recount. I was following F6Hoon by 2 seconds of gap shifting at 3k rpm saw 4L turbo dart left and the back of F6Hoons car lift into the air under braking. I went for the brakes, brakes locked up I steered left to try and avoid the back of the F6 couldn't get grip back onto the front wheels and bang white smoke and a loud noise... thought I had died to be honest. After that I got the worst feeling I've ever experienced as I pulled of to the side of the road to assess the damage. I just want to thank F6Hoon for being such a top bloke and really understanding. Thanks to Daniel in the white F6 for pulling over and helping out. Sorry for the shit end to a good night.

taxi was just sitting in the very left hand lane no hazards just park lights i was passenger in the mr2 we pulled up in time. daisy was trying to give us room to move across but he too would have copped it if he had stopped. Sounds like tristan and i only just escaped the carnage.

an i was like that was close.. an a bout 10 seconds later bang we go slided about 10+meters i looked behinde us seen the white xr6t an saw his car was alright looked at the rear of f6hoon's car an didnt look to bad so thought the xr6t hit us..

then i looked behinde his car an seen the silver 33 an his bonnet an front of his car pretty much smashed up to his windscreen..

cant beilive how much damage his car got compard to the f6.. i guess lucky f6hoon had a tow bar.... think that saved us an his car alot!!

No one was tailgating, everyone got happy having a run from the lights and there happened to be a obstacle ahead. That not many could see.

Speed + unavoidable obstacle = mayhem sometimes.

You or I or most others would have done no better in that situation I guarantee!

Esky's has a point we all got a bit keen at the lights and if it weren't for either everyones light car or big brakes everyone would have hit each other!!!! Oh well I will be hanging way back on the next cruise!!!! If mine isn't a write off

We had the same thing happen years and years ago in Mandurah with a taxi parked up in the left lane in a no standing/parking zone whatever it is.

Cortina gassed it from the lights, we followed behind in the gemmy and when the falcon in front of the cortina locked up he did the same and the reaction time took more and more effect as the cars went back - ended up pushing cortina into ford. Taxi driver somehow managed to talk himself out of an absolute flogging because a couple of blokes went straight up to him. In the end though, incidents like that need to be copped on the chin.

If everyone drove off as normal from the lights that type of thing wouldn't happen. It's good to see at least that there's no ill feelings between people from the crash - the one negative from having big brakes is that you pull up and save the front end but the car behind can't always stop in the same distance.
