I am 24, I have an import so that automaticly makes me a hoon.. I have a clean driving record over the last 4 years with only 2 fines of 10km over.
car is stored under a car port.. not in a garage so I know I have no chance with shannons

Just called famous car insurance.. they will not insure people under 30 now..BS

Just car full comp excess for me is $1850 with agreed value of 13K for my 32.
30 bucks a week for insurance costs

what do you think?

not many people will insure imports.. is just car insurance an import owners only hope for under 25?

Under 25 with a turbo and bad driving history = raped by any Insurance company. Premium is $1700, standard excess is $450 and agreed value $13k. JustCar dropped my age excess when I turned 25 and a few more options have opened up since. With that said, my car is ADM and not an import buuuut there isn't much difference.

I have spoken to a few different people at shannons now, no issues. All comes down to how you come across imo.. if you sound like a jerk you are probably going to get treated like a jerk. Understand they probably get sick of dealing with muppet's and sometimes wears off onto the next person they speak to.
