Be very careful, thanks to the MTA pretty much any cash work by an un accredited workshop/tech is illegal.

Basically, they are being really tight ass holes about everything motor trade related latelly. A/C - LPG licences I can understand, but one to change oil and filters and general mechanical work is horse shit. Not saying don't do it, but just be careful man. I do it for the girls/guys/mates at work, saves them paying the ridiculous hourly rate that we charge. Just servicing though, not tha larger jobs, don't get a long enough lunch break.

Always wondered about putting up a thread like this, but it's worse for me because I am in no way qualified, nor will be

Top idea though, work on other people's cars will be excellent for learning and broadening your knowledge etc :) ... least this way you won't end up like me - knowing 99% of things about 1 model range, and very little else lol

This is assuming I do need to mod it.. which I won't know for sure until trial fitment time, when all my bits arrive in a couple of weeks' time
