Daihatsu pulled the pin on Australia, So if you want genuine parts look over seas or alternatively some Toyota dealerships still sell parts on their behalf. Escort wrecker look no further that Rolly Waters at Racetune in Bayswater. 27 Moojebing St, 9377 1995

try suzuki premier motors ossy park
9443 1400, speak to chris or dean, they are most helpful or even Michael if you can get him. I know they did lots of daihatsu stuff a while back, they seem to have DAIparts on their invoices that I get from them as well.. failing that Suzukishop cannington do daihatsu parts also, ask for steph, shes the polite one :P

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think premiers only do non-returnable buy-ins. So if you go through them, make sure it's 100% right, and the old part is 100% fucked.

LOL!! of course they do non returnable buy ins.. you will find ANY dealer that does a special buy in is non returnable. Otherwise the likelyhood of them re-selling it is VERY slim.

allways best to supply a chassis number anyway and you will find most dealers will not lift a finger without one so it doesnt fall back on them for supplying the wrong part.

Nah mate, as in, everything is a buy-in. They don't have any daihatsu parts there.

From the information i've been given, anyway.

Also - escort shit. I have a mate wrecking a 100% complete 4dr mk2 escort ghia. If that helps.

Premiers have also lost their last employee that was familiar with the Dihatsu parts catalouges and are no longer willing to sell dihatsu, as i was told a couple of weeks ago.

Depends on what your after, some stuff crosses over to toyota, however no toyota dealers bar grand toyota are decent with helping you on that.

Giants are also onsellers but also are not that keen.

Just spoke to Dean at Premiers.. they are still willing to do Dieshitsu parts.. Speak to Dean if you want anything, he said it just comes down to if the parts are still available or discontinued..

Ross Cox @ Giant Nissan, most useful parts guy I know.

If he can't get it, he'll know who can.
