The car itself is in fantastic condition other than it having a mighty feast of pistons a'la flambe'.
ZD30 turbo diesel in pieces. VGC turbo, zorst, manis etc.
Blew pistons, requires new guts or replacement engine.
We've been looking at 6.5L conversions and 4.8 turbo conversions, but don't have the facilities here to do a swap.
Car is available to be picked up from Bunbury.

you could realistically do an ls1 conversion for this and have it all completed for under 20k, including buying the car, great value when you think about it, wish i had the cash and knowhow to do it myself

actually the model you want to start with for an rb conversion is one with the rd28 turbo diesel, this one is a zd30, correct me if i'm wrong but they use a different gbox

they don't call the zd30 the hand grenade for nothing:)
apparently the series 1 and 2 gu's are notorious for it but the later model ones (s3 onwards) and the version that came out in navara's are a bit better, still too small and underpowered for such a big car in my opinion though

Replacement engines for these are around the 5-6k mark,so get a few mates together for the weekend and you can have a good car for around 13-4k.
Or sell it for around the 18k mark and make some profit
