hey guys looking for somebody to tune my tx3 running haltech. will anybody in perth do this? i rung xspeed and they said nobody in perth will do it. if it comes down to it a different ecu could be installed but would like to try and tune it with the haltech.

naht not at all its a bit hard to tell as of yet as you cant really give it any shit due to a base map tune. just wondering about there reputation.

not to sure as of yet. probably around 18psi. with the haltech e8 i still need to run a boost controller dont i?

I'm pretty sure the haltech can control a boost solenoid directly, with the ability to regulate boost for different levels per rpm.
But, a standalone boost controller can generally do a better job of controlling gain, ie. maximising spool/turbo response.

After a quick check, it looks like the E8 is a simplified version of the E11v2 that I have. My boost is controlled by the haltech:

That should also work with yours, probably a more effective way instead of a standalone EBC? Because it hasn't been tuned yet they could set it all up at the same time, and as mentioned In Tune Performance are very good at tuning Haltech's. They just told you nobody will tune them because they aren't going to tell you which other business to spend money at :p
