hi all, im fairly new to antilag so give us a break if i dont do things right or whatever.

anyway decided to buy my first import a few weeks ago, with the help of an old school mate (thanks derm). its a 1993 nissan silvia with sr20det with numbers matching....

Modifications are:
gt28 turbo (from s15),
2.5" exhaust,
hybrid intercooler,
aftermarket BOV,
extreme heavy duty clutch and flywheel,
aftermarket dump pipe,
turbosmart manual boost controller,
HKS pod filter,
apexi pen turbo timer,
inboot battery,
18" r55 rims,
vertex body kit,
altezza tail lights,
alpine dvd/tv system/amp/12" sub,
alpine cd shuttle stacker,
d1spec deep dish steering wheel,
cusco catch can,
and your run of the mill mechanical boost guage,

it was filthy when i got it been sitting in some asian guys yard for almost a year and a half and needs a bit of work to get it to where i want it to be.

she's slowly getting there and the whole build is being set up to get maximum performance with only spending half of what most people would. after she pops i'll be doing things alot more "proper" but until then im doing things old fashioned

turns out she was in a prang and crossmember is all bent along with a few rails n shit. bushes/tires need to be desperatly changed and the alignment is fucked. here is some of the damage (note the angles)

anywho hopefully i can sort my money out and replace and fix most of this stuff soon. and it turns out that the revving problem is due to the clutch constantly slipping. so that needs replacing soon also. having some AFM problems as well, eventually get that replaced after i sort all this other stuff out first

looks like your usual un-maintained nissan.. Every bush on the car is fucked

expecially going by the bad camber wear on the RHR tyre. Have some faith and love and it will get there eventually :)

shagged bushes are a common problem on silvias especially castor rod bushes,if the front sub frame is bent that bad its very simple to swap a straight 2nd hand one in, just ring a few people like ben at kyp,danny at jpc or steve may, it wont be hard to do and bushes are quite cheap.other than that looks like a nice car

bit of an update

apexi turbo timer put in (old one was pissing me off)
550cc injectors
and extreme heavy duty clutch (purchased but yet to be put in)

future plans are to paint the spokes on the rims black, braided lines, electronic boost controller and a tune :D
cant wait til im debt free

bit of an update.
4 new tires,
brand new heavy duty extreme clutch,
all new bushes on the front,
forked out for an alignment,
brand new d1 spec steering wheel and nismo shift knob,
new mechanical boost guage,
cusco catch can is in the mail-hopefully comes sometime this week,
running around 10psi,

also played around with the timing a little (only by ear) i think its still a bit off. at times im still getting abit of over boost and hits cut quite early

ideas/numbers/figures/help/anything thats worked for you related to timing would be much appreciated.

investing in some new spark plugs soon-which should help

looks like the car hit a big curb, and the entire suspension on both sides has taken the impact, bending it back like that.

good condition 13 subframes cheap and fairly easy to do, could bolt what you want on aka 5 stud hubs, 2 way, adjustable arms so on so on then do a swap well worth doing :)

after today i have nothing to complain about though-she drives a million times better

might just get central locking and a few other things fixed and save during the meantime-doubt she'll cop much money love after how much she's already hurt my bank account :P
