View Full Version : Oil feed
Turbo project is slowly coming together but Ive been stuck on were to get oil from for the turbo, my question is is it safe to put some sort of double adapter were the oil pressure sender goes and run them both of that?
will this effect the sender?
cheers

yeah ive done it that way before,
if the oil press sender is a 1/8NPT thread you can buy an adaptor or log by VDO i think (i have one at home i can post a pic)
screws in where oil press sender was then has 2 x 1/8npt threads on it, screw sender in one & have a oil feed for the other
i ve done it this way when i turbo'd a mini years ago, i even used the dipstick pipe as an oil drain  ! just had to undo drain hose & put dipstick in to check oil, dodgy as fuck haha
edit , like this ere:

Yerp WHS^
This is my "junction adaptor" off the Cossie. 2lt Pinto block has only one port in it for the factory oil pressure switch, so when the cossie head goes on, they use these. I have tapped another thread into it for a Defi pressure gauge aswell
