I'm looking at buying a second hand OS Giken twin plate from over sea's but I don't want to get it wrong again :knock:
The plate thickness seems to be good, but what are your opinions on the angle of the fingers on the back? I was told they should be flat

you will find the fingers *might* be flat if the pressure plate was actually torqued up.

in the above photos the pressure plate bolts are just sitting there. so there is no clamping pressure being applied.

That's what i was thinking..

I know my ORC twin looked exactly like in the pics when i took the pressure/cover plate off.
