Uploading documents in a thread from my local pc?

i have a PDF document that is a print and save for cheap movie tickets to share but cant figure out how to upload the document on a thread to share.
Document currently sitting on my pc desktop

after posting the thread saw google has a upload docs thing...used that and will create a thread for the offer

some forums have it some dont..wanted to check it wasnt me not seeing the icon or place to do it.
