So i thought id throw up my new car. i sold my s13 in september and saw this and fell in love. Once i went and saw it i knew i had to have it. i wanted it then and there but couldnt buy something unregistered so i had to wait a bit until it was. I think a few people on here would know it

it came with HKS coilovers but its nicer to cruise in at the moment than my silvia was so i might keep it like this for a bit.

plans will prob be to follow what adam did before but maybe do it on a 25 pending what the moneys like once i finish my apprentiship.

things i need to fix:
bonnet. has a big crack on the drivers side where it looks like the paint has split. only happened when it started to get hot in december/jan.

knock from the cam gear cover. sounds like a belt gets loose around 1100rpm so il have a look at that asap.

apart from that the car hasn't had any other issues so im really happy with it.

thanks for reading

sits nice for stock suspension, will be a tottaly different car when you put the coilovers back in.

yer it handles pretty nicely actually. giving it shit it doesnt have too much roll so im pretty happy. once the coilovers go in it should handle even better again. its definetly a step up from my old s13.

the plan is to go to same setup or maybe a slightly more resposnive turbo than what adam ran on it. then once the 20 goes il be putting in a built 25 hopefully.
thats a little way away though so plenty of time to decide

The abuse that 20 has copped - I can't see it going bang anytime soon :)

Good score thou, have always loved this car, so clean and simple but god damn does she boogie.

45V1 turbo (what you have) is about as responsive you will get without going back to the 16V RB20 turbo, the other 45V series turbos are alot more laggy

personally I think the 45V1 is quite responsive, with a decent tune it boosts rather quickly

Well as of last night im pretty sure Ive managed to lunch the box. the twin plate still rattles so it shouldnt be that thats fucked. Will chuck up some photos of the gearbox when we take it out.

makes me angry because the alternator shat itself on Tuesday and haven't had it running for the week. fixed that Thursday now come Friday i need a new box haha

nice car mate,

the sideskirts look like coupe sideskirts, i had a pair exactly like it on my coupe with the little kick down bit in front of the rear wheel.

i hadnt seen any other either

^^ cheers mate.

The knockings now gone. turns out id broken one of the pulleys and it was causing the timing belt to rub against the covers.

Now to start saving again for a motor. hopefully nothing else breaks. But then again it is a nissan. :D
