Things to do in bunbury?

So me and a mate are making a random midweek trip to bunbury next week. Just staying for the one night.
Was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on places to go/things to do/places to drink there?

There's 2 and a half things in Bunbury and they all suck. You walk into anywhere and they can tell you're not from around there, blokes tended to try start shit with us last time we went. A few decent chicks around but too many LHC's. It really is a shithole.

Our night was alright, we got smashed and went out not caring for the most part. Cam (OBSESIV) managed to snag some old bird by putting GET YOUR pingpingpingping OUT and his room number on one of those LED belt buckles, and then we got thrown out of some bar because some locals didnt like us. Next morning, mates car had been scratched up and dented and was blood all over the floor.

I've been to bunno a bunch of times when i used to see mates out there, and it's always the same. Boring.

Youd think so, but the V6's have this rather anoying throttle control thing that wont give you full power while the brake is applied... but hey, prove me wrong by all means!

If your planning to head out for the night this would be my recommendation.

Step 1. Barbados for dinner (bombed wood fired pizza) and a few quiet ones looking over the water, check out some of the divorcees/milfs.

Step 2. 3 monkeys is where the bitches go to start their night about 10 - 10:30 ish and dance like no tomorrow. Scout out some of the talent there and start your groundwork.

Step 3. Once 3 Monkeys is shutting they will more than likely head to Fitzgeralds (the pub with a beer garden out the front) so head there, fingers crossed theres a half decent band or DJ on. Not a bad spot to chillax n shit. Towards the end of your stay in fitzys is when locals can become a bit rowdy but its usually a minority.

Step 4. If your still keen and locals havent been fuckin idiots in fitzys head across the road to EXIT nightclub.

Step 5. If you've stayed till near closing its almost 6am, so finish up with a Kebab pretty much right at the entrance to EXIT.

Step 6. Hope your groundwork has paid off and you head back with some talent.

EXIT patrons don't know music.. Resident DJ there is a tool. We headed down with some Machine Events crew to put on a night down there and the new owners of the club just kept asking for commercial cause no-one was dancing... Iiiiidiots. Kill Dyl ended up giving the resident a shot and he smashed the cheese, the crowds enjoyed. I'm all for playing to the crowd but you wouldn't think travelling an hour south would so far affect what people 'dig' in the music scene.

You now have a choice:

1) Continue along the Bussell Hwy, It will turn into Caves Rd. Continue til you arrive in Dunsborough.

2) Take the Bussellton Bypass, Continue along the Bussell Hwy until you arrive in Margaret River.


This is the best possible thing you could do in Bunbury.

I havent tried to do a skid in any of the newer commodores. the only commodore i have done a skid in was a manual VR SS.

Hrmm further investigation may be required.

Yeah I took a trip down there once, banged a bird (OT:first muff after 2yr relationship just ended, hell yes) and then got the hell out of Dodge the next morning! Was a good trip hahaha....

The pub we hit up was ok, outdoor beer garden type. Don't plan on going back any time soon, bad enough having to go collect my jacket the next weekend...
