If your going to make your own kit, you'll need a shurflo pump like an 8000 series... 150psi+ being the most important aspect.

And make sure you get nozzles that make a nice mist out of the water stream.

I work for subi got a nozzle at home of an 08 sti 20bucks its yours.. cost is 30
Yep, get 2 Subaru STi water spray nozzles and a high pressure pump..
Try an Ulka vibration pump out of a coffee machine .. they pump 15 bar of pressure and are small, cheap and heat proof (they sit next to boilers all day in coffee machines).

Need to factor in 240V inverter into costs, where as the shurflo etc stuff runs direct of 12V, and is generally ~$100
Will also mean you can use PWM control.
Keep it simple IMO

Thats why i was after a kit... all parts included....
Dont really wanna start messing too much with wiring with a new car hahaha....
And putting a FMIC would include haking and chopping bumper...

my mate got his done for his subi at Maximum Motorsport in Malaga
not sure how much he paid tho cos he got it done with a turbo upgrade...
cos the STIs have them standard, you can get them to auto spray at certain revs which is pretty sweet
should check em out and see what they can do for you

I dont know much about this stuff, but could you not just run it from the washer bottle. Disconnect the squirters and rig up some hoses and sprayers to the underside of the bonnet??
You lose the window squirters but does anyone really use them?

fuck water spray on the intercooler.
do water/meth injection.
That's my next job for my ute, been reading some guys remove the intercoolers all togethor and just run meth mix and get minus temp readings.

I have done this before, its not really worth it, didnt notice any performance gain at all. not sure what it would be like on the mazda but you dont want the water to travel down and sit on your spark plugs.
you will need a washer motor and washer bottle.. find one from another car that suits the location where you want to place it.. I think behind the bumper would be the best place, under the head light but depends on room... retic hose or vac tubing, a check valve and a couple of jets and a switch for inside the car obviously.

+1, most people disconnect their rear washers.
