just use the highrise car park.. $13 a day - less if you go to the top and car pool...
I pay $370 a month for my parking under my office but its cheaper to go to the public one!

$370 a month? Thats like... my fuel costs for a month! Why are you paying for parking, and how does it work? - I just haven't heard of something like this before. :)

GOD DAMN....370 a month!!!
fuck that, I rather train it in every day then pay that
Someone owns land
This land has car parking
There are more people wanting car parks then car parks themselves
You pay mr land owner a monthly fee.. about 370 in dufus's case
Mr land owner gives you a spot no one else can use
hope that helps
370 is about right for West Perth - pretty normal.

Yeh i had a leased parking spot through work which was costing me 2.5k a year. Wayyyyy cheaper to just catch the train. Unless you plan on getting into west perth before 7.15, then i think you can get the "early bird" for about $8 a day on wellington st/colin st intersection.

Not only that but it is about 30 mtrs from my office lift which is about 10 mtrs from my office and desk :-)
I can pay $13 a month in public parking and risk not getting a spot and having to walk almost 15 minutes each way - rain / heat ect.. or pay $16 a day to have one in my building... Where I can go out for lunch to subi - pick people up - get to sleep in for 15 minutes - get home by 540pm. It just makes way way more sense.. Yes it is expensive but thats why i drive a honda civic to work and not my torana or ute :-)

I think the $370 a month scared a few people. $16 a day compared to $13, its well worth it!

Free parking on site on Wellington St. FTW! I despise paying for parking.
There's a new carpark building being constructed on Elder St (near the FWY South entrance of Wellington St.). It's not far off being finished. If you're not in a rush - maybe look into that?

Not that I condone it but if you park down in the open carpark near the foreshore / riverside drive you can just go over the kerb and out when leaving. People have been diong it for years, but that is down by barrack st jetty.

West Perth should be dead easy to get a parking spot. I used to work there few years ago when I was a fresh grad straight out of uni. I had a free parking bay. The receptionist had a free parking bay. Everyone had a free parking bay. CBD is shit for parking. My current building has 17 office floors, and only 3 carpark floors, so crappy ratio. Your average west perth building has 2 to three office floors, and one to three carpark floors. Here's a tip: when getting a new job at west perth, demand a carbay there and then, once you got an offer of employment of course.

Every single festival ive been to on foreshore has ended like that - including being run after by african security after summadayze.
Its not the 7 bucks, its the laughs I get that make it worth it

Doesnt work like that... we are in a 7 level building and there is maybe 35 carparks underneath ours... so your ratios are way way out in my case.

Yes and no, only for certain jobs.. ask your accountant for confirmation, as I can't remember the exact conditions.
My parking costs $260 per month and its in Northbridge (short walk to my office in the city)... at the end of the financial year, I claim the $3,120 annual cost and I get a nice chunk back on my tax return, because my job is eligible for the tax benefit the parking bay provides.

How did you manage to get your car out of that car park?
I parked there one time and had to creep up that incline to leave the carpark onto william st.
It still made noises :(
Def not performance car friendly!

Def not performance car friendly!the entry to that carpark off St Georges terrace was a nightmare! even going over it on 45degrees the peak was fuken terrible...after a week of it i wound the coilovers up 10mm. then would car pool in my car one week and in mates stock height VE Senator the next week.
the exit onto wellington street cleared without any issue.
parking there on weekends, during festivals, etc was a great perk! :)

Get in contact with either Max from FMPlus Recruitment or Williams & Hughes Lawyers on Richardson St.
They both have spots available for rent. As previously stated in here though, it's not cheap.
Alternatively there's a site called SpaceOut where people advertise spots for lease.
Otherwise as a temporary measure, all along Kings Park Rd there is free 1 hour parking, it just means that every hour you have to move your car to another spot (providing there is another free one).

Don't know him personally.
We've spent months looking for extra car spaces for one of our offices.
That was one of many that was advertised!
