I am wondering where most people put the outlet to atmosphere for the gate on their RB's..?
How long is the pipe and does it just vent into the engine bay or out to the side of the car or...?
Any pics or descriptions of suggested setups would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Ryan

There been lotsa setups and different opinions on this.
I have seen them vent into the bay, some even pointing at the firewall. I personally hate this idea. I fear of engine bay fires. Aslo exhaust gases in the cabin.
Mine is run along the front(dump) pipe and aims straight down at the ground. It finish's level with the engine crossmember. I do get a little bit of soot on my crossmember, nothing major though. Mine is obviously sr as you know, not RB.
Another setup i have seen runs it further along and points it down and out towards teh side of the car just behind the front wheel. Seems to work ok too. The only downfall i see of that is the extra weight / length of the pipe draging down on the manifold. That can un-wind bolts and cracks manifolds.

your using a std cast iron mani
sit teh gate on teh collection point right where the outlet from teh mani to the turbo is throw teh pipe over the side hide it under youe exhaust path way etc drop it just as levels witheth chassis rail
stealth where it exits is probbaly for teh best
