Hey mate the legnums are a v6 hence the twin turbo set up the earlier galants like mine are a 4 cylinder so one big turbo should do it.:)

Awesome, it's off it's chops!!

What are you plans drivetrain/brakes/suspension wise?

Thanks, suspension is just going to be coilovers with new poly bushes through out, the brakes i was looking into a mitsu 3000gt brake and 5 stud conversion as for the box im going standard for now its a evo 0 one with the 4 bolt rear (just till i run it in then ill see how much it can handle before it explodes). But at the end of the day it will get a ppg gearset and an lsd, maybe billet axels dont know yet its all very expensive.

This is the rear main seal it was machined out to fit as you can see it came through the casting abit but didnt effect the bolt holes so it went on without a worry. The seal itself isnt a 7 bolt seal but has the same ID as the 7 bolt crank with a smaller OD (about 2mm).

Iv changed the pumps and surge tank locations, i just didnt like it when i seen it in person.
http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt177/VR42LT/FuelpumpsII.jpg
The duel 044 fuel pump bracket is from Race Solutions in Penrith NSW. The surge tank is being replaced so the weld on fittings match up to the pumps fittings, So that the pumps will screw straight onto the surge tank.

Can't remember if I read it in a earlier post but what are you building it to do ?? Drag circuit or daily drive? Why not invest in a antilag system Like a inlet bypass or retarded ignition to keep the turbo spinning thus no need for te happy gas unless u want more ponies ??

Always need more ponies OLLIE! The goal has always been to run some sort of 10 sec pass with rego, i know it will be hard because in street trim these things weigh like 1400kg+. As for antilag i didnt really think of it i just went straight to the nos option although i am going to use a 2 step so i spose thats some sort of antilag.

More progress today enjoy the pics guys

So then off to the 1st dyno session. My mates from rotamotive racing in sydney built and tuned it last October, time was short so he was rushed. Made 250kw @ all four wheels on 15psi reving to 8400rpm.

click on the video
http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt177/VR42LT/Mobile%20Uploads/th_20141009_194447_zpsi5zmbrwc.mp4 (http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt177/VR42LT/Mobile%20Uploads/20141009_194447_zpsi5zmbrwc.mp4)

Then on the 2nd session a week later it went to rigolis because my mate was not available. Vince said he wont rev a car over 7000rpm on the dyno especially since he didn't build this car.

click on the video.
http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt177/VR42LT/Mobile%20Uploads/th_20141013_202332_zpsz89tkrk6.mp4 (http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt177/VR42LT/Mobile%20Uploads/20141013_202332_zpsz89tkrk6.mp4)

Car made 288kw @ all fours on 19psi reving it to 7000rpm. Now I figure if he had reved it to the 8400 limiter it should have made a little more power since he had another 1400rpm on boost the squeeze out of it. so im going to say the car has around 300kw.

Then I got it shipped home to WA and proceeded to change a few things that I didn't like, its hard to leave a car on the other side of Australia and have the thing you want done a certain way.

didn't like the birds nest under the dash so made a plate for the ecu and co and tidied up the wiring. No heater, fan or air con now because I wanted to fit this

Looks like EGT probe points, usually you have one, but this might be to tell what each cylinder is doing and adjust fuel load at injector accordingly?

Lonewolf
09-03-2015, 12:36 AM
yeah, to monitor temps so you can compensate for slight differences in airflow - plus handy if you have an injector fail to go into limp mode or such i'd say
