I have a secret confession. Always wanted one of these in black with a manual and big motor.

Not far off here. Nicely done.

Jumanji
19-01-2010, 02:32 PM
ah is there now lol SS intake was off at the time, was making it look pretty, thinking about getting a metal OTR made for it though, hopefully next year at MV or powercruise this year on the bottle and painted, at least thats the plan.

EDIT = thanks for the positive comments guys !

Cheers lazy6 seen urs around a bit looks good.
Ah ran tonight with a best of 14.602 @ 152.3kph 2.150sec 60' mark and 0.733 reaction time. First time ever for me and the car down the strip, not too impressive & still flairs in third gear would anyone know how to fix this issue

like when its changes when foot to the floor from second to third its jumps straight to like 6000rpm and you have to get off the accelerator and then it'll hit 4th and you can put your foot down again, and its a brand new box so i dunno why its doing it any ideas?.

Flairing could be due to the converter being fucked.

Either that or draining the fluid and replacing the filter can work wonders. The obviously refilling.

Are you running a cooler?

RICEY

Id be taking it back to whoever built the box for advice, if its new it should still be under warranty.

Love the old strokers, and your paint and stance looks mint, just not feeling the rims.

Jumanji
21-01-2010, 09:16 AM
Cheers, will do with the box going to run a diagnostic on it tonight see if that tells me anything. the paint is getting a re-spray and i want to find a set of 19" Signatures for it.

^ Thanks Mate,

Have made an executive decision its getting converted to a manual and shoving a turbo under there somewhere ( if anyone knows how much a turbo kit for one of these would be roughly and where to go that would be greatly appreciated ).

Could you guys post up what wheels i should get because i value other car enthusiasts input, as im going to buy some new ones very soon.

Thanks.

22-01-2010, 03:32 PM
Talk to vsclubby_678 on here he has just gone the turbo route.

I wouldnt ditch the auto due to a small issue. From the sounds of it you have put some coin into it (or someone has).

hey,

Got my car back from Bill Lee and it made 360hp at the fly. 300 at the wheels.
I want more but dont want to do bigger cam because cop attention is not something i want to get familiar with. I was looking at the alloy C.O.M.E Racing heads that they make and apparently they pull good flow numbers what do you guys reckon, P.S ive attached the url for C.O.M.E Racing heads website.

Thanks you opinion will be appreciated i need all the info i can get lol.

Id be getting rid of that come manifold for starters, they do no favours to na motors.

Look at getting a harrop single plane and a 4 barrell tb, they do fit under the bonnet.
Also the alloy heads are abit overboard, you will get the same result out of some port work to yours.
That plus a bigger cam should get you up somewhere in the power range your looking for.
If not a small shot of nitrous wouldnt hurt.

joking man just smash 2 snails on it and be done with it
