Heard on the radio thismorning about a crash on Toodyay Road. Skyline Ripped in 2, half still wrapped around the tree. 23 year old male driver. Hopefully not someone from here.

Speed definately the cause.

But on a serious note though, it is going to bring back Hoon Law talk, Hoons + Speeding etc. To rip a car in half needs a decent amount of speed, and certain cars will be branded hoon vehicles for no good reason. Happened at 10:10pm last night and the driver is from Bellevue.

Further down in the comments someone says half the car was still stuck on the tree and the other half was 16 meters.

Definately driver error due to speed.

It's amazing how many people write themselves off in commodores/fords/4x4's/hatches etc every day of the year, but as soon as someone does it in a performance vehical there's suddenly huge media interest.
