Been interested in this for the past few years..

It finally opened on the 4th of january and smashed a fair few records in construction !

Even the video will give people vertigo haha

View from the highest point on the tower (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWVLzVhnYE0)

Two guys have already BASE-jumped off it.. with permission mind you!

I watched a doco on 2 French guys who successfully base jumped it on the 2nd attempt after they got arrested from their first try. They dressed up as expat engineers to avoid detection, used the stairs as they could not get the lift to work. They jumped a few floors from the top as there was workers on higher floors. Apparently they will be only people to base jump as there is no way to access the outside from the upper floors, so it was only possible during construction. They did not get permission as they had to leg it when they landed within the construction site.

I wonder if Alain Robert "AKA the human Spiderman" will attempt to climb it.

just for my own interest I superimposed it on Perth's skyline

this is something what it would look like..

Note: Perth's tallest building, central park tower is 250m tall
