View Full Version : how hard is it to replace standard s13 fuel line, from the tank forward?

as above just shat a fuel line on my s13. Guessing they are old so they have perished. Im going to replace them from the fuel tank forward. There are 2 of them. Will it be hard to do ?

if your going to make new hard lines with out a hoist it will be a fuck around.
if you get a pair of lines from someone its a easy swap over.

no no, they sit ontop of the sender at the rear of the car, they are 2 rubber lines that go foward to the engine

then no its no hard. they go to just infront of the tank into the hardlines

they not rubber hose the whole way marty... only bends and connectors

from the petrol tank you have 3 metal lines running underneath the car, 1 being a breather
they run into the engine bay, and from there the rubber EFI hoses and clamps connect into your fuel rail etc
are you talking about the metal lines or the EFI hoses?
EFI easy, metal are abit of a pain as ud need to get then pre bent and made up, and would suck under jack stands

efi hoses i have 2 one is a sender and one is a return they above the fuel pump, i gotta find out where they connect to the metal lines under the car

possibly yours have already been changed to rubber lines in the past by a previous owner?

i dont know. What i do know is from the sender they are efi hoses and link to hard pipes under the car somewhere
