I was gonna go through them a while back now, the guy was a bit dodgy, Said I put a 2k deposit down on the car when I didnt and bumped the price up 2k to make it easier to get finance, which is illegal I found out. Apart from that made me say I earnt more than I did and had nearly zero bills, was starting to get way too dodgy and I didnt go through with it.

RAC have been great for loans since I've used them. Had 3 or 4 over the years. Dont charge you more for paying off early and interest rates for members is pretty decent.

WHS ^^

Otherwise have used Toyota and Bankwest as well, Bankwest was just peace of mind for moving money in/out and redraws etc as i had account with them at the time.

Wankbest's rates were pretty good for me, just be careful not to pay the loan out earlier than the terms of the contract say you can. Keep an eye on the loan with net banking and change the payments to $10 a week or something insignificant when the balance gets down to a couple of hundred dollars to avoid break fees :)

just make sure u dont "apply" for too many. It also goes on your credit rating even if you dont go through with them.

ie sign the privacy disclaimer and then pull out

I had a finance broker send 6 out at once for the one car, I only signed the one, couldnt understand why I got rejected, that was till I got the the credit report mailed to me 2 weeks later.Fucking idiot.

Bank of Queensland. I have my car and my wife's through them. Out of about 4 banks I contacted to get another loan, these guy's bent over backwards to cater for my needs and had the lowest interest rates by 2%. And I don't even bank with them!

Awesome customer service, I can't recommend them highly enough.

with regards to BMW finance, does the loan only apply to buying a BMW or a car in a BMW dealer yard only?

i dont use them, got health, home & car insurance thru hbf.

i used to have a good loan broker at easifleet so will see if he still works there 2morrow.

any other options would be good, want the lowest rate & best deal etc. Im a very low risk lol, want another chattel mortgage

if you try to go for finance thru your bank and are unsuccessful, it basically shows up as an enquiry and doesn't affect your credit rating tho...

Chattle is a different ball game all together. RAC is a consumer loan product.

rate isnt eveything, I could show you a great rate and still make a fortune out of you in fees ;)

Anyone that can get you under %10 on a Chattle is prety much on the game. How they set up estab fees etc is up to whos doing your finance. Bendigo and St George arent too bad. Nor is Esanda if your asste backed.

Go direct through the financier not a broker.

Not quite true Owen, It does show up as an enquirey as you said. If there are alot of enquireys in short succesion, banks will decline a loan because they see alot of enquires, Basically they assume that youve applied for a loan and not been given it and they must have missed soemthing, so they will be un willing to press the approve button.

As for being with RAC, all it takes to get their members interest rate is to sign up for Roadside assitence. $50 is the entry level I think, and only have to be a member when you take it out, so you can drop it after the first year if you like.

thanks for your opinion, yeah i thought it was a good deal, considering all he asked me was how long ive owned my home for.
if i find a car & go thru with it i will try & get the rate down a bit maybe.

cheers
