Value of stock turbos?

Hey everyone, just a quick query.

I have 2 2JZGTE stock turbos from a Toyota Supra. One I have been told is fucked, one isn't. They came with my car as parts and I have no idea how to check which one is and which one is not.

Anyway, what I am wondering, is are these turbos worth anything? Do people search for stock turbos? How much do they go for?

seen a few good sets of 1jz twins on sale for 250, so dont think yours will be worth too much

Yeah I suppose. But 1JZ are older turbos anyway aren't they? These being 2JZGTE Turbo's off of a '95 RZ, would have thought they would be around $250 anyway as they are. I dunno what is wrong with one of them, they both look the same lol

Well, I have been told one is rooted, not sure how/why it is. Is there a way to check without fitting it to a vehicle? Price is noted though. :)

for the trouble of pulling your turbo setup off not many people put second hand turbos in.. they usually rebuild/high flow or go single....
2j turbo removal is painful..

Well, the person looking at buying is needing to replace the fan in his as he broke a blade or two when he took his off for some reason rather. I just don't want to do the wrong thing by him so want to check everything I can before hand, you know? But for the hassle of taking mine off to test these two I don't think it is worth it.

Smart people who blow a pair of stock turbos either go hi-flow or single (as mentioned above)

Just sold them both for $115. Now to replace the hatch trim they damaged on the way to work today, $120. :( lol
