Cat-back, Quotes?

Hey,

gonna hook up a cat-back real soon (friday fingers crossed) and was wondering if u guys know of neone who does decent non-stainless performance cat-backs for 4cyl's, i spoke to genies and they quoted me $280 including dyno run, i was told it can be done cheaper ($170) but im pretty happy with $280 if it comes down to that, also if by happenstance anyone wants to sell a stainless cat-back suitable for a celica or close enough that would be the bomb, didn't think there would be any chance of hookin up a stainless around the $300 but it's worth a ask. neone 2 recommend?

aight, heres my homework

Genie (prices went up the pingpingpingpings) $320-350 including dyno, plus they sound like good blokes that're willing to do minimal bends in a custom job

Willeton Exhaust: $250, said he'd do whatever the fuck i wanted, sounding the most promising

Ozfit, $265 sounds like a vagina who wants to do it fully legit with muffler and resonater and 2 1/4 in the same place as my old piping, why would i pay that money for something that aint gonna give any performance at all.

Greenwood exhaust: $425 including new cat-converter and 2 1/4 piping with muffler, good blokes but i aint got the cash

man i dunno, is it possible for me to get a new cat-convertor, new piping and some performance with a nice note for $350-$400?

they do alot more than just exhaust work, ask Sik33, apparently he just had some work finished today with good results, i wont specify out of respect but it was along the lines of forced induction so im sure they'd be able to hook up some intercooler piping.

yer thats all good, me and my mate had our exhausts done by them, seemed like fairly good blokes, cept they fucked me around a bit cos im a young fella, and ive had to take it back twice to fix a rattle, and so has my mate. But then again , u cant complain for 130 for resonator and 2 inch piping plus fittment. Next time i go ill mention im a antilag member.

Just had to share my pleasant experience with Mettams in Morley today. Couldn't be happier!!!!!!!
Got cat fitted + some modification was needed to front pipe/brackets (Under $300, wohoo!! actually got quoted double at a previous place) and i thought i would need a silencer...nice enough to not slug me for one and tell me it wasnt needed.

without the antilag discount they have currently quoted me 1/2 the cost of two other places for a cat back SS system on the replacement buzzbox to my stolen car.
