Got a HTC Touch Diamond I wouldn't mind selling. Decent condition with car charger (something you don't get standard), has a brand new screen protector that you'd want as the one that's on there has been on for nearly 12 months. $250.

I am on a Telstra NextG plan as I need it when I work out of town but pretty sure it isn't locked to Telstra.

telstra 3g network will not work on optus

So what, just because it is capable of NextG network it can't be used on any other carrier?

Telstra NextG run on there own network thats different from vodaphone, three, optus, virgin etc, he will need a phone that runs on 3G network not NextG

I have Samsung Omnia i900. Don't know if it's locked, but I got it through Optus, so won't be a problem for you. Maybe 9 months old? Make an offer if you want it.

If the phone is GSM/3G capable then any SIM should work, it will just operate on a 3G band not NextG.
