Well got something else for a little run about as my other 2 cars barely see light of day.

1992 aero top crx

exterior:
- Full Custom Wide-body Kit (EK Civic origin - Fast and Furious inspired.)
- Full body re-spray (Honda - leafy green) - love this colour!
- Clear rear tail lights
- Tint

interior:
- Full interior refit, with red faux seude and vinyl seats and linings with various
embroider .gifs, Red painted plastic highlights with Custom fibre glass stereo and console inserts.
- Custom RED Certified Seat Belts.
- Momo Race Steering Wheel (anodised red)
- White back illuminated dials

engine/exhaust/driveline:
- B18C Integra conversion
- Excedy Race Brass Button Heavy Duty Clutch.
- Turbo Conversion with TD03/04 high-flow custom turbo.
- Custom tune length manifold
- Front mount intercooler kit with stainless piping.
- HKS SSQ super sequential BOV
- K&N Pod Filter
- 2.5” Customer Exhaust Turbo Back, with Hi-flow CAT and Twin Magnaflow Barrel Mufflers

fuel system/ecu:
- Greddy E-Manage piggyback computer
- Malpasi Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Oversized Injectors 2.2L
- Bosch fuel pump

Wheels/suspension/brakes:
- Winner Pro 6 pot Racing Brake Conversion
- Front and Rear Heavy Duty Stabaliser bars
- H&R Lowered Springs
- Sparco Race 17” Wheels

Turns lots of heads and goes quite well. Im looking into a another tune or ecu (to see what its making) and a boost guage as it doesnt even have one. Needs a deck and amp as currently only has the speakers/splits in custom door pods at the moment.

The car might be to over the top for some but i like it, actually looks better in person compared to when i first saw these pics im about to post. (will get some engine bay pics up when i get some time)

How long have you had this? I've seen this quite a few times lately, on GEH etc

Definitely stands out!!

shame the exterior looks so crap, because i like the mechanicals!
Look at a hondata, basically gives you full control over the factory ECU.

used to see this a lot near Myaree - back when it had personal plates.

Its definitely unique!

Purchased by choice?

Best thing you could do is drop the motor into a clean EG Civic.

you guys are too polite
don't take offense man cause it's only my personal opinion, but i've seen dog turds that look better
would be better if the running gear was in a stocker, dumped with nice rims

haha, each to their own :) I know this car wont be for some, but at least it has the go to match the show. Havent had this long at all, the previous previous owner did all the work, had it for about 8 years or something and reckoned he spent 50k+ on the car (probably with a stupid loud sound system in it though)

How much does a hondata go for?

Wont be doing too much to the car, just some small things as it will be my daily and i never really plan to keep a car too long.

"Looks crap", probably turns more heads than a white R33 though :O OH FUCK!

Yeah ok, I'm not really a fan of the visual appearance either...that's alot of money you could have spent on sleeper mods, but hey, whatever floats your boat :D

Deke

its looks terrible but with a mod list like that it must fly being such a small car

May be I'm alone in saying I dont really want any car that will turn heads like that one 'would'

atleast it has some go to back up the eyesore surrounding it

You pingpingpingpings need stop giving the bloke shit.. So you wouldn't own it.. I wouldn't have bought it either but, Its got a decent motor that should make a lot of other cars piss.

Its had a lot of time and coin put into it and its not an abortion, it has been done quite well. Body work looks to be of a pretty high standard and paint looks top notch.

its the internet. post a thread on your [insert said vehicle, face, gf, idea, etc] and you WILL recieve comment, positive and negative.

in reference to the car in question, decent internals and obviously some time and coin spent on the car-would no doubt be a great drive. as for the exterior, there honestly wont be a whole lot of luv coming from the AL crew, thats just fact.

seen this car forsale for ages, like a year or so,
but in my opinion, car looks like shit, should change the hood, front bumper and rims..go for a JDM look
but the engine mods is pretty darn nice

Adam Web's old car he used too be the photographer in perth for fast fours. He built it with the guys at MAD enhancements spent alot of time on it

bingo, He was the one who spent all the cash on it.

where to go for a re-tune is the question....i heard zac at cypher knows his honda's pretty well...?

Lonewolf
26-12-2009, 06:05 PM
asg tuned kcaccords bolt on kit honda, and tune my n/a vtec motor. wouldnt be an issue.
Only problem may be the emanage, im sure they can tune it but may not want to.
does the emanage have the ignition tuning harness or fuel only?

DenZel
26-12-2009, 06:11 PM
have to check on that one

as for how it looks, i dont mind it all, i like different cars (check my history) and it gives me a luagh, plus she's just a daily.

SINISTR
26-12-2009, 07:31 PM
hey DenZel. Glad you like the car mate... I've known this one since before the kit and the turbo - used to be Red at the beginning. Owner as one other person here said used to be a photographer for Fast4s from memory, and it took him a long long time to finish this.

If you like the look of the car, despite the comments - awesome - but rather than changing chassis it would be easier just to get rid of the kit. Gen3 crx's are pretty funky little cars, contrary to many beliefs - I myself didn't like them at first however grown to like them alot, my gf owns one too.

Flick me a PM if you like and i'll get you involved in the local CRX club if you're interested.
