To those of you who play online poker.. Whats the biggest amount you have ever won off 1 pot or 1 tournament you have gone in?

Out of curiousity how many of you can honestly say you have made money this far?

Lastly, how many of you use sharkscope or the like to better your odds?

most i won off a tourny was 100 bux, but thats all gone now :/ had a bad week and lost it all. i mainly just play with fake money on poker stars now, sometimes it feels like the game just goes against you to make u loose all ur money so u have to buy more

Yeah I found that too, but I think alot of it depends on how you play or are forced to play your cards, alot of the smaller tables its just like a lottery draw with people going all-in pre flop because they are scared of the blinds when they get bigger.....

when you are having a bad run its just like instant death every time.

how many people in the tourney where you won $100???

I played online pretty seriously for awhile, probably making about $400 a week for 6 months or so. Playing 8-10 hours a day. Once I won an $8 rebuy tourney for about 3 grand but I normally stuck to sngs. It's a shitty living.
I've probably said this before but I used to deal poker awhile ago. I know a few people (4) who have won well into the 10s of thousands and one of them has won just under half a million.

Your neighbours must have hated you man, if you are like me you shout loud at bad beats/morons etc lol

why shitty living???

half a mil is crazy! how long did that take to accumilate?.. i can just imagine sitting in front of the table waiting for it to fill up when the buy in is 10k, must take days

I remember reading somewhere sometime that you could only cash out as ertain percentage into your bank, the percentage being based on what you orignally brought in for with your credit card/etc.. is that true or do i have it way wrong?

You can cash out whatever you want, whenever you want. It's a shitty living because it really is such a "grind". Sitting there playing tight only top 10% hands it wears you down and gets to be worse than working a 9-5 job for even less pay. The guy who has won half a mill, obviously I can't say his name but he is pretty well known around the cas and online, he just had high placings in 2 or 3 of stars higher tournaments. If you have the roll for it you can make money online but ideally you don't want to be playing for more than 10% of your entire bankroll at anytime.

I like playing just the cash table over tournaments. I play mainly on PKR and Full tilt.

In one sitting have turned 50 into 950, took about 3 hrs. But mainyl try to stick to spending 50 bux a week and slowly trying to increase it on the lower tables.

I don't know how to answer that question "dude", But I do understand that the first step is to admit that you have a problem...Um is this where I put in two question marks to a statement and some bad spelling and grammar??

Lighten up buddy. 'Twas a joke! Although I am concerned about your defensiveness.

"You finished the tournament in 172nd place. A USD 0.65 award has been credited to your Real Money account. Congratulations! Thank you for participating."

That was my 2nd tournament, just started playing.

I know what you mean about the muppets who go all-in at the micro stakes tables and bet stupidly, but I watch who is doing what and try to crush them when I get a good hand.
