quick question about photography

hi guys, does anyone know how to take this type of photo (bonnet down but still able to see the engine bay) i have always wanted to know how it is done...

u need tripod and photoshop
take pic of car with hood up, then down
then layer the hood down pic ontop in photoshop
then lightly erase the layer of hood closed until u get what u want

yep thats how i would do it. unless your willing to completely remove bonnet, but it wont do much.

Erase bonnet in the up position and set the bonnet down layer to maybe 50% transparency?

only advice i'd have is get the engine bay in full light, rather than having the bonnets shadow over it.
