Hi guys, went to waw just then, can't get the car hook at all on 1st and 2nd + my 60ft time isn't looking happy. Before I start ringin around tyre shops (which would mean rip off), anyone know a reseller/dealer for nitto or federal semi slicks in perth or australia?
Looking for size 195/50/R15 2 Pieces to fit stocker rims
Using maxxis ma-v1 hard street tyres on fwd is no good at drags at all....

you dont want semi slicks, you want drag radials
M/T or Bfgoodrich have drag radials, or tech9 can possibly get you nitto drag radials.

Talk to Scotty at Tech9Tyres.
He can help you out with drag radials.
The hard sidewall of semi-slicks wont improve your time in a straight line, only around a track.

what times did you get?
hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhaha
14.45sec
103.32mph
60' - 2.621
If I can hook 1st and 2nd, probs get those 60ft times to 2.2. Funny how, those mph should get me to just above mid 13's

No worries,
Called many tyre shops today, nobody sells drag radials (not semi slicks). Tech9tyres still need to come back to me with some nittos 555.
So far I found out that M/T drag radials are $412each from A1 hi performance which is a bit of a wow. I'm leaning towards BFG g-force T/A from tirerack.com for $131USD (225/50R15) each but god knows how much shipping is.

think rocket industries are the aussie distro for M/T, might be worth a try for a better price.
Pulsar guys have been down to 2.0 60's with n/a motors which isnt too bad.

i paid $310 each for my 26x9 R15 slicks a while back from A1.
i thought the slicks would be more/same as the ETs.. guess not

Rocket Industries:
M/T ET Street Radial (P/N: MT3750R) P205/50R15 - $264
M/T ET Street Radial (P/N: MT3752R) P235/60R15 - $390
Both off the shelf and extra $20 courier to Perth Each tire. Might go for the P205 :) :)

Cool Story Bro!
Thanks for wise advice but I'm not bragging to be the champion or how good/shit fwd is. 13's isn't far and I know, just get the car to hook.
