Hi all,
Thought it was about time i posted up my taxi.
Its a Shockwave June 2005 XR6T BA MKII 6sp manual. Bought it bog stock in May 2008 with 54,000k's on the clock. Has premo sound and thats about it and has been and will remain my daily driver.
I've slowly built her up over the last 18 months and unfortunately i would say progress has come to a halt since i am now back at uni studying and money an issue :(
Anyhow mods are as follows.
Performance:
Plazmaman CAI
Plazmaman hot and cold side large diameter piping
Plazmaman 800HP intercooler
12 psi actuator
XFT 4' dump pipe
XFT 5' highflow cat
Nizpro Valve spings
Nizpro injectors
Walbro intank fuel pump
Capa XCAL 2 flash tuner (with Xtreme Ford Tuning custom tune)
Driveline:
F6 Typhoon twin-plate clutch
Billet flywheel
Brakes:
4 Pot Brembo fronts
BPR upgraded rear
Styling:
F6 Dark Argent 19' rims (Sumitomo 245/35 rubber, nice street tyre)
Tri-pod interior R-spec guages (boost, oil presure, fuel presure)
Piano black (Ghia) interior
Shift-R staged shift light
BF Rear lights
Removed wing
Removed towbar
De-Badged
Force 6/8 bootlip spoiler (still to be fitted)
'Turbo' scuff plates
Power:
Stock - 210rwkw @ 6psi
Now - 327rwkw, 650 Nm Torque @ 16psi
1/4 mile:
PB 12.851 @ 113MPH on street tyres with wheel spin and short shifting. Probs got around a 12.6 in it on street tyres and i have never run it on slicks.
