XR6 Turbo Taxi [TORQUE UP]

Hi all,
Thought it was about time i posted up my taxi.
Its a Shockwave June 2005 XR6T BA MKII 6sp manual. Bought it bog stock in May 2008 with 54,000k's on the clock. Has premo sound and thats about it and has been and will remain my daily driver.
I've slowly built her up over the last 18 months and unfortunately i would say progress has come to a halt since i am now back at uni studying and money an issue :(
Anyhow mods are as follows.

Performance:
Plazmaman CAI
Plazmaman hot and cold side large diameter piping
Plazmaman 800HP intercooler
12 psi actuator
XFT 4' dump pipe
XFT 5' highflow cat
Nizpro Valve spings
Nizpro injectors
Walbro intank fuel pump
Capa XCAL 2 flash tuner (with Xtreme Ford Tuning custom tune)

Driveline:
F6 Typhoon twin-plate clutch
Billet flywheel

Brakes:
4 Pot Brembo fronts
BPR upgraded rear

Styling:
F6 Dark Argent 19' rims (Sumitomo 245/35 rubber, nice street tyre)
Tri-pod interior R-spec guages (boost, oil presure, fuel presure)
Piano black (Ghia) interior
Shift-R staged shift light
BF Rear lights
Removed wing
Removed towbar
De-Badged
Force 6/8 bootlip spoiler (still to be fitted)
'Turbo' scuff plates

Power:
Stock - 210rwkw @ 6psi
Now - 327rwkw, 650 Nm Torque @ 16psi

1/4 mile:
PB 12.851 @ 113MPH on street tyres with wheel spin and short shifting. Probs got around a 12.6 in it on street tyres and i have never run it on slicks.

try a hair dryer and some goo remover then cut and polish to get the rest of that badge off if you havent done so already,

Was going to ask whats the best to get that off. Cheers will give it a go today :)
Also does anyone know where i can buy rubber gromits/bungs for the holes in the bootlid to stop water getting in until i get it resprayed.

I highly doubt it, havnt been on a cruise since AL 21. Also havnt been to the drags since March.

Not knowing much about these, what are the pro's and cons of the Manual over the newer ZF ( i think ) auto box ?
Bloody nice car though, good to see people not underrating them, and making some decent figures out of them.

ive heard clark rubber stocks the lil rubber gromet things
possibly try bunnings if that fails?

Cons: Slower down the strip, 1 hand on the wheel during epic high smoke circle work/curb to curb displays, standard clutch.....

Pros: Can literally drop second........ and third...... and fourth..... :) Not to mention flutter

Yeh as stated before;
Pros: More fun, Drop 2nd/clutch stab etc etc, feals faster
Cons: Actually alot slower (around 0.8 second down the 1/4 for the same mods, pain in the ass in traffic, stock clutch is shit and the F6 clutch's cost $4000

Cheers mate, I am curently in the process of respraying the intercooler black and getting the lower grill. Will also be selling the plates as i am wanting to make it a little more of a sleaper.

Impressive list of mods you've accumulated. I especially envy the brakes, even the 'upgraded' twin pot PBR on mine feel avg for a car of the power, not to mention the crappy rotor :)

Ahh i havnt had stuff all trouble with cops or other people wanting runs, but with the IM240 regs and more than likely other simialr regulations coming into place in the near future i may avoid a hassel by doing this. Any one with a keen eye will still pick it im sure (hard to miss the brembos) but your average cop want notice a thing. I CBF'd removing the badge gunk as i am getting a new boot anyway asap. The stock brakes on these cars are perthetic imo, the brembos is one off the best mods i've done!
