I've been in the car scene for about 6 months but always "whoring"...........now i have my license as of today (y) and i finally have a respectable car........so thought i would put up a showcase on it....
It is a 97 s14 series 2 coupe
-Pearl white paint
-vertex body kit
-Sitting on impul 17's, not the best rim just have good offset....i got what i payed for.
-Tein superstreets coilovers (aus spec i think -_-)
-FMIC
-Standard sr with what i suspect china 6 boost lookalike manifold -_-
-3 inch turbo back exhaust
-All the fruit stereo wise....
-Dished steering wheel
Few little bits and bobs added since last update.
Still loving the car.
Heres some pictures for your enjoyment...New pictures.

also, recommend you start doing some AHG driver training days on the skidpan so you can learn how the car will behave when driving it hard.

I recommend anyone making a big change in cars goes and does it, much rather people spin out/understeer on a skidpan than into another persons car on a cruise, let alone someone just getting their licence.
LOL @ attempted insults.

I had my Chaser since I was on my P's so I'll share some wisdom man, take it easy, love and respect your car and it will show you the same back, I've had few close calls in my car solely because of my own stupidity, I hope nothing bad comes to you and your car.
Hope to see you out and about sometime :)

I would have to agree very strongly with Lonewolf, I had quick FWD cars for quite some time & purchased a decently powered R32 3 years ago.. I had little experience when it came to respecting my 32's ease of popping the tail out.. Coming home one night over a bridge on the hwy in the wet I literally mildly accelerated to pass someone on the slightest bend, boost came up, back end came out and threw me into the wall at 80 ks. It happened Fast!
a rather expensive lesson
I would recommend you do some driving days also so you can understand your cars limits alot better and learn how to get out of things quicker.
not saying your a bad driver, I just think it would be beneficial

this looks like BBK's mates old car ?
Just some preemptive advice, check if your front pipe has a flex pipe in it, if it doesn't, I recommend you get one that has. If you have a china s/s manifold and no flexy front pipe, engine movement (on probably worn engine mounts) will make your manifold crack. Cheaper and easier to change the front pipe than a cracked mani. Enjoy

cheers once again guys and once again i agree with the suggestions of ahg course....i know how to handle a car just i can never turn down a day of fun and good education at ahg course so if anyone organises a day im definately keen....and ren i don't believe it has the flexi pipe you speak of sounds like a worthy investment.....only had a quick look under on the hoist at work and is quite clean.....and another update 19's are now gone and the hunt for a nice set of 17's or 18's begins going to jpc tomorrow to see what i can pick up for a good price :-)

JPC have a good range, but given your WTB thread, you "may" find $1k or lower Jap rims in a style you really want.
saying that, there are some well priced non-name brands on the JPC site :)

Thought i'd do an update on the car
Mod list hasn't changed since my last update
-Changed coilovers to custom made pedders (coilovers) they go much lower and car handles the roads much better with them.
-Got bored on saturday so stripped most of my interior and painted centre console gloss black and roof lining black, in my opinion it looks alot better then the factory grey....
-Car is sitting on stockies as my rims are hopefully selling asap and i'm looking at some work Meshie style rims hopefully will sit nice..
In the future i want power but with my apprentice wages and poor ability to save money tell me that it will take along time to build up.....
-Would start with the general bolt on's but a 190XXX km old motor won't last so over longterm i'd like to build my own motor up.....
Figure i'd love to see from it one day would be around the 350- 400hp mark...
Heres some pictures...

Small update on friday the 26th i decided the car deserved a service......so went to repco ended up leaving with a brand new mig welder and a fair few other bits
Got home
-Bonnet off
-Jacked car up onto stands
-The usual oil and filter off
-went to bottle shop to purchase becks :D
-Then Pulled sump off, oil pickup off and checked timing chain tension and bearing conditions looked mint to me cleaned up and put everything back resealed sump....
-Then i removed the Rocker cover for a clean up and look then decided i wanted to get rid off the nissan and other emblems on cover, so i went at them with a grinder got them off gave it 3 or so coats of high temp primer and then applied some wrinkle black, decided i'd go black as my motors stock and doesn't really need bright pink to attract attention to it.....and loved the affect of wrinkle black....
-Also i rewelded my exhaust learnt im terrable at welding but only practise can improve that, changed my spark plugs gapped them at 0.08mm and car sounds cammed up now :P
-Then i refitted everything gave it a clean up were possible and that occupied my friday night and most of today but im happy with the service :-D
Heres some pics for you to ponder on..
