Guys,
I've owned these clubs from new. They have been looked after and have served me well but the time has come to move on. These are rare in the sense that i have 1-SW, thats 1 iron, 2 iron, 3 iron etc all the way through to the sand wedge.
For the aspiring golfer that wants a full package.
heres a quick review:
Model Reviewed:
845's Silver Scot
Summary:
845's are a proline set, meaning that they have the characteristics that golfing professionals desire in clubs, frequency tuning, progressive weighting, and ball working ability. The shafts are designed to kick in the same manner for each club, even though the lengths of the shafts are different (frequency tuning). The sweet spots on the club are large enough for a mid-range golfer, yet tight enough to be able to work the ball right or left on demand.
Anyone who can shoot, (or would like to be able to shoot) under 100, would benefit from this club. If you practice, practice, practice, and want to shoot in the 70's consistently, this club would not let you down. However, anyone who plays that much (greens fees) would be hard pressed to keep the new clubs bug out of their life.
If you're a recreational golfer, and want great equipment and a bargain price, look to TA 845's silver scot.
