He later told salvage experts that the hand-made 736kW engine gurgled like an outboard engine for about 15 minutes before dying.

It didn't occur to the muppet in those 15mins to turn it off?

What a sickhunt, come up with the swooping pelican story, and laff about it idling in the water for 15 minutes. Insurance payout and get another one. He's that rich, like he honestly gives a fcuk???!!!

Was he black? Do you ever see nigga's rappin about swimming? Thats cos they can't swim.

It's never "this is how we swim" or "this is how we perambulate through the water"... its always "this is how we roll" or "we bang bitches and pop caps in niggas", or "drinkin petron and hennessy whilst straight ballin, motherfucker"... never rap about swimming.

In fact, I've never ever met one black person whilst sailing.

despite a V16 engine with quad turbochargers driving all four wheels — was unable to regain control of the vehicle before it hit a patch of mud and skidded into the lake.

Because everyone knows its easier to regain control of a car spinning out when it has 16 cylinders and 4 turbos......

I was curious, so I just watched the Top Gear video of their top speed run:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk1t6S737Cs

Up by default, OR insert a key and they go down and the whole car lowers and then the spoiler raises on braking.

Either way - that guy IS a typical rich American.

cplagz
14-11-2009, 06:01 AM
or maybe the problem is he is no longer a rich american, hence why he thought to see if the car could swim.

and letting the engine run in salt water for 15mins would only help the cause ;)

And despite the stratospheric price tag, the Veyron actually loses money with every sale: the development program was so expensive that a break-even price would be closer to $4 million.

Really? Didn't know that...

TJ

Im not entirely sure how the engine was making gargling sounds when the intake its from the top of the roof.

Car probably needs a serious clean out and check over, but probably isnt a write off.

'Pretty sure it's a lambo dude'

Pretty sure you should know what car it is if one day you wish to own one.

Either way, the video is comical, The pelican he apparently hit seems to have eaten a big bag of dicks as it leaves the rear of the car in many bits

@B3ND3R: Yeah, there's a huge conspiracy going on between the Facebook video kids and the rich Veyron driver. Turns out, the kids are actually CIA moles working with the owner of the Veyron, a prominent Swedish mobster going by the name "Dietrich," in an attempt to bring down Jalopnik, because Ray Wert knows too much about the Kennedy assassination

awesome work on the vid.
Wonder if he is doing the dodgy with the insurance company.
eg. accident in car, gets cash, buys back cheap and gets to do the repairs himself?

We've finally put one and one together. Andy House not only crashed his Bugatti Veyron into a lake, he also owns the now-repaired Eddie Griffin-crashed Ferrari Enzo!

If you're driving a Veyron around, probably pretty likely.
