Should be no problem. You'll find it's pretty much the same as the U13 Bluebird SR20 which is another option. Or you could pour more money into it and fit a GTi-R engine. Any of them should fit with a FWD SR20 gearbox.

www.pulsar.org.au

has it all, to answer your question yes all SR20DET FWD's even it they come with a 4wd box will mate up to the standard SR20DE gearbox without any problem.

Pulsar.org.au is what you need.
All the best fitting a SR into the N13. Not the easiest of conversions.

Also, why bother with a old gti-r motor? Stick with the avenir for sure. available as late as 2001 models & have as much power as a gtir motor almost (175kw) & run 9psi out the factory!

Happy boosting. :)

lol I love it. GTi-R motor may be a bit older but there's still hundred of Pulsar gimps drooling over them.

Depending on your budget (can't be too high if you're buying an Avenir motor), you might want to look into sourcing an SR20VET (or VVT or whatever they called them) from an X-Trail GT.
