Yes i have decided to sell my GC8 wrx after all that time and money put into it,just needs a new starter motor. After having it all ready to go to race for this wednesday coming up at the motorplex,even getting the nos bottle filled up the starter decided to say goodnight as i went to start it today.
I have had two engines built in Perth which both were fucked due to poor building,tuning etc... so i tried third time lucky and sent it to rigoli's over east. Which they have made a monster. This was the patience buster for me that tipped me over the edge which pissed me right off,as i seem to have nothing but bad luck with the car as the past has demonstrated. Yes its ONLY the starter that needs replacing/fixing but i just cant be bothered with it anymore,for those who know me would understand. It takes a routine to start due to the huge cams which does wear the starter faster than normal.
Made 394.5kw at all fours on the rigoli dyno & Ran a 10.5 @ 136mph at eastern creek WITH FULL STEREO SYSTEM STILL IN IT and with wheel spin.
Was built to be WA's first 9 sec wrx. Anymore details ring dominic at trp- 0297270695. Spent over 50k with them and have driven no more than 5 kilometers since ive had it back as i dont want to get pulled over by the local's that know and dont like me. All up not including purchase price of car ive spent $65,000 on it over the past 2 years.

Fully built rigoli 2.7litre full closed deck motor, sleeved, (same motor as their blue 2 door gc8 that ran 8.6 but 100cc bigger) w mahle box n box pistons, steel crank, trp rods, 318' race cams, full preped race heads,800 hp turbo, trust wastegate, big alloy radiator, 3x thermo fans (needed due to loss of cooling efficiency with a closed deck block), surge tank, 3x bosch 044 pumps, 4x 1200cc injectors, trust bov, 100hp nos kit list goes on. 30k motor.
4EAT auto transmission with manual shift, B&M shifter, switch in dash to make rwd for burnouts etc... transmission cooler. 14k gearbox that can handle 1000hp.
Full custom suede&painted interior with gauges, half roll cage, harness, momo pedals, momo steering wheel, stereo all taken out, stainless steel panel in dash for switches- purge,nos,rwd/4wd,thermo fans, gauges.
R180 rear end (4k worth) with whiteline control arms to handle rwd without bending, 330mm brembo front brakes, 315mm brembo rear brakes.
20inch rims and tyres,full custom paint job and cwest body kit,custom j racing bonnet,custom headlight set up, altezza tail lights.
Has 4 and half months rego left.
$30,000- ouch for me,good for someone else!!
