My girlfriend has a 2004 Holden astra, and the rear drivers side window is fucked. I had a look at it today, the motor works, its just the clips that the cables lift up the window hold on to are all broken...
So who can I call to come and fix it, and how much is it going to cost me?
The part that is broken is called the regulator. Common on Astras, in fact I know a year or so ago a TS Astra RHR regulator was Amcap's fastest moving holden part.
Trade price I think they aren't too bad, about $100. Just a matter of drilling out approx 4 rivets and replacing the part. Auto Electrician will be able to replace, although might be hard finding someone to do it that is mobile.

Dude there is an aftermarket supplier doing them cheap.
I can slot it in for you, they arent overly hard however still need to take the door trim and all the jargon off.
I think i paid like 290 last time, for a electric one.
Then the brochure came through for like 120
Let us know
Cheers
