Haha,

We are currently debating weather to keep our A/C licence or not at the moment. To do a job properley, its so hard to keep all the relevant departments happy, and still be priced fairly. All the mobile guys can just undercut with suck gas out smash gas in jobs. We chase the problems, diagnose the faults, weld the pipes, fix the switches. They just open a valve and sit in a van.

Ask Alem Ceric, i did his aircon on the wrx, twas a tricky one

Cheers

exactly the gas has leak for a reason. Repair the leak then fill it with gas.

I sold up all my gear due to every other workshop trying to cash in and jump on the bandwagon

Ive got a book sitting on my bench of paperwork i need to fill out quaterly, stuff i need to fill out every time i buy gas, when i use gas, how much i catch from cars, how much i put in, bottle weights before and after.

Spend more time doing paperwork than its worth in profit. And then you have the undercutters doing 140 regasses, when push comes to shove though they dont have the equipment, hoists, workshops, tooling and products in stock when it all turns a bit sour.

the dude that did my a/c used a tool that i havent seen before to find leaks.
instead of the dye method, he had a sensor thing that he prodded around that sounded like a geiger counter lol
probably old news but i thought it was pretty cool

anyway ive only ever needed simple a/c stuff done, which is ideal for a mobile guy to do i rekon

An electronic leak detector wich by law all buisnesses trading in A/C should have
