Hello,

Thinking of upgrading my suspension, but before i go spend a couple grand, after some info/feedback.

My car (S14) will be mainly street with some track work.
I want a relatively comfy ride.

What are your suggestions?

Possibly other options like upgrade shocks and springs as appose to coilovers.

Who has had experience with K-sport, TEIN coilovers etc.?

Rough costing would be appreciated too :)

thanks,

Joe

If you're going to buy K-Sports, you might as well buy HSD's.. PM me if keen, can get them for cheap.

had HSD on my old 180. never had a problem. got them when they first came into otomoto years ago and they didnt have brackets for the front brake lines. pits picked it up so got some stock ones and welded them to the bottoms of the shocks. apart from that they were good. good ride and heaps of adjustability.

HSD's
or BC which are also getting some pretty good reviews around the place. Make sure you get the Gold BR series rather than the earlier model just jap sell.

I have K-sports.. Very comfortable on the soft setting, perfect for a road/track combination car. Handle just as well as my Teins did on my last 32

Ha ha thanks guys.. I sell sh*tloads of these things, especially on Perth WRX forums, and hardly ever have issues.

The only problems I've had are a couple of Subaru issues i.e. change the hub sizes half way through a production run, meaning we had to get different brackets sent out, etc.

Reliability wise, never a major issue with them.

R3N, I can check... I'll see if they can do a half set.
