Well I decided that I wanted a new toy after the demise of my 15 and always wanted an FC... so I got one. Was a pretty much an impulse buy. Haven't yet decided if I regretted it yet, but its a fun toy and provides for learning opportunities. Haven't got proper pics because I've been slack but here's a crappy phone pic for you junkies...

...that was after a 2 min sleepy eye mod. Don't know what you're worried about Pav :lol:

So far, my neighbours hate me. Need to get a bolt on silencer to quieten the thing down. Over the weekend, me and dave (afro) decided to pull the turbo off in attempts to port the wastegate to address the boost creep issues I've been having. Lots of swearing later, we called it quits trying to get the exhaust housing off the turbo, will come back to that later.

Also I'll need to rattle can those guards to make them sort of match the paint work (car had panel damage from a bit of an accident but its perfect for a bunky).

Anyone know where I can get a manifold/turbo and turbo/dump gasket for this? Its an s5 turbo.

Factory r.e in gnangara should be able to sort any issues you have, nothing but good service for both of my FC's.

I'll give ya the tip, JPC has a brand new set of D-max 30mm wide front fenders which compliment the BN type 1's fatness perfectly (and which you might actually need to fit up those LM GT4s without scrubbing).

i drove the 33 to narrogin and back with it scraping on every tiny bump and it barely rubbed the paint of the guard nevermind rolling it.

have got a guard rolling machine i can lend for a fee :D

take nismo stickers off. broom to guards, grinder to springs, cheapest paint job possible. and your half way to being a true newbie rotorhead.

just put them on to see how fitment would be, one's busted up so can't rock a full set. dont need grinder, already have coilovers sorted. cheap paint job is next :D

good to see ya get back up on the proverbial import horse after your s15 mishap mate, always been intrigued by rx7s myself but cant really be assed working out rotors so ill prob stick with nissans :/ good luck with it all though.
