I was just looking for someone who has info on these job agencies, that you pay to find you a job, like they find you a job and take a bit of your pay each week, i read it somewhere on this forum.. anyhow im currently looking for a job, a deskjob / office lacky or something relatively physically easy would be good, ive had my share of retail and supermarkets and i dont know how my backs gonna hold up for that, i just need a steady (boring i know) job for now to get me by until i can get enough money together to get my back fixed and looked at by a specialist, i should have gotten workers comp dammit..
anyhow any help is appreciative, im on my way to the dole office monday morning, i dont want the dole, i want a damn job !, damn i hate centrelink, didnt ever want to step foot in that joint..
thanks
Rick

I use Select Appointments .... they are both Temp Agency and Employment Agency .... they work really hard to find you a job and really nice people.

DEFINITELY DONT be ashamed of going to Centrelink and stuff mate. Thats what its there for. To assist people who need a bit of help now and then....
The only time you should be ashamed, is, if your abusing those privaliges.... It seems clear that your not :)
I remember driving down near rockingham at peak hour and on one of the main roads, there was a middle aged guy standing on the side of the road, WEARING a "job wanted / needed" sign.... AFAIK he ended up getting a pretty good job out of it (think i read about it shortly after in one of the local papers??).
To me, that would have taken balls. 150% respect!
IMHO if you look hard enough for a job, you will find one. It might take a bit of effort, but....

WA Turf Club .... for those people that think its some kinda horticortual society that grows grass (and not the smokeable kind) NO ... they own Belmont n Ascot Raceocarses .... which hold not only horsey events but Dance Parties and Car Shows :D only downside is i do have to work at Perth Cup!

Global Festival and Autosalon were both held at Belmont recently.. Very interesting in their own rather different ways :)
