For sale:
1984 Series 3 Mazda Rx-7
Condition:
Needs lots of TLC / Love (AKA lots of $$$)
Price and price conditions:
$1500 With standard rims + Sunbaked tyres
$2000 with Watanabes + Fresh/near new tyres
Extra Info (ie mods/history etc etc)
The good:
-12a 4port
-5speed manual
-Around 5 months registeration
-Thermo fan hooked up to a switch
-Exhaust system Consisting of Extractors, 3" Piping, in a magnaflow muffler
-Possibly rebuilt previously, Runs good and doesn't blow smoke
-14x6.5 Watanabes. Light rims, Front tyres barely used any tread. Rears are almost new.
-Ran fine before, what i believe is an electrical issue
-Drives straight, does skids n shit
-All emissions crap removed
-No aircon/heater (Good or bad depending which way you want to look at it..)
The bad
-Lots of electrical Gremlins:
Sunroof goes up, but doesn't slide back.
Drivers window goes up/down with a bit of help.
Passengers window doesn't.
Alarm has a mind of its own, sometimes goes off when opening the door when its armed. Sometimes doesn't.
-Outside door handle broken, can only open from the inside.
-Drivers door doesn't have a lock on it
-Windscreen cracked
-Speedo cable keeps popping out every now and then, doesn't clip in properly?
-Has vaccum leaks that i've temporarily fixed..probably good idea to fix them properly
-Paint is shit. Bonnet is faded, its chipped here and there etc. Looks good when cleaned (kinda)
-Rust near rear hatch (will see in pics)
-Rust in the boot area (Weill see in pics, isn't overly bad)
-Rust under the door / sil panel thing near the rear wheel
-Alternator is rooted
As far as im aware the engine is in good condition, it occasionaly for some reason runs on one rotor which im assuming is an electrical issue, as it only started to do it when the alternator began to die?
Not getting enough spark or something, i don't know.
Needs lots of work obviously...would make a good Motorkhana car or something i guess
