hey ppl would anyone knoe of anyone in perth that could either rebuild or supply me a new transfer case for an evo 7 as it seems mines on its last legs with a major death whine cheers in advance

speak to rhys... he had a good condition spare transfer case from his legnum which is the same as the 4-7 evo's i beleive.

evo 7 transfer is very different to earlier ones.

er I wouldn't let autoworkshop near an evo...I'd ask around about customer experiences as I know of a few fails.

whats the difference?
i thought 4-7 was the same, and 8+ had ACD

4-6 same

evo7 got an upgraded transfer with acd (snow, gravel, tarmac settings).
earlier ones only had active rear diff

bit strange, i know heaps of guys including me that use them and nothing but good feedback. but i guess you hear stories about both
