got a toyota aristo tries to crank over but has no spark when i tries to use a timing light on it that wouldnt work either i put a test light on the ignitor and have power on the power side (i think) heeelp thanx

mainly google on all the supra forums and toyota im thinking it could also be a earth problem

yo, put your aristo into diag mode (look it up on jzs147) - you short out a couple of pins in the plug under the dash and turn car to on (or something like that, only done it once), it will flash on your dash an error code, match it up to the list (on jzs147), you will soon find out what is wrong.

exact same symptoms happened to me before on my aristo - turned out to be the CAS sensor wires were loose.

yea crank angle sensor is common fault . or the washer with teeth that the CAS sometimes strips or comes loose
