hey guys ive got a 04 BA XR6T an seems to be a problem, wen i plant my foot on about 60km the turbo kicks in but there is a lagging effect, it will also do it wen i put my foot down at the lights, the lagging will sort of go on and off and it will gradually gain speed, i can still get into boost if i slowly put my foot down.
help would be much appreciated.
cheers jared

First guess is that there's a slight restriction somewhere in your system...
Have you happened to try unbolting your exhaust slightly (even take the entire front-pipe off if possible) and taking her for a quick run down the street?

have you changed the intake or exhaust without having it tuned???
might be overboosting and going into limp mode?????

the exhaust has been changed its a 3 and 1/2 inch with 4" dump and 5" cat and it is overboosting getting a tune next week but it was lagging wen the stock exhaust was on there to. i thought it might have been that the cat was dead but it wasn't and its not the ignition coils i just had them replaced 2 weeks ago. ill just get a tune and see what happens and see if they know whats wrong with it when they put it on dyno
