View Full Version : RX7 Power FC tuner
Just a quick question.. who in perth is recommended for tuning power fc's for RX7's? and what boost level above stock is safe for daily driving? Just that i've heard that a few workshops doesn't work with rotaries too much, and rotomotion is only really good with microtech... any help would be much appreciated.. Cheers...

mick at ovaboost will probably do it. has a fair bit of experience with rotors and all kinds of engine management.
Ant DiSilvio was tuning them at tenagah for a while, now works at x speed. 14psi on pump fuel is really the safe limit from what I've gatherd from him.

all of the above. pending on engine build and all 1 bar on a standard motor is the limit on pump fuel without water injection.

Dont be so Sure, Rotos can tune a number of computers, power FC included.
If its a stocker with stock twins (im assuming FD) then 10 - 14 psi, Shoul net 300 to 330 RWHP Providing you have supporting mods (fuel pump, cooler etc...)
thanks for all the responses guys... yes its an FD with stock twins... only engine mods are full exhaust, pods, and power fc.. it's running 0.9 bar of boost atm..
i got a quote from in-tune performance, and ovaboost, round bout the same price... so end up booking with in-tune performance...
anyone have any experience with these guys? once again, thanks for all the input...

Tristan, in your opinion, who is the best tuner in WA?
My friend has a 33 with stock injectors and is chasing absolutely the most amount of power possible.

I have had around $40K of experience with In Tune Performance. After using other numerous workshops I settled with Aaron. The quality of workmanship and customer service I have received is of the highest standard...
Factory-R.E - yet to hear anyone bad mouth them, and they know their rotors.
Sean at All-Star can tune RX7's and can tune Power FC's.

To add to this, Ant Scali at X-Speed has also dabbled in PowerFC's and rotors...
tried calling ASG this morning, but they said they dont deal with rotaries.. ASG was my first option as i reckon that sean does a good job.. but yeah, now i've already settled for in-tune.. cheers for all the input guys, just that i'm honestly not too brainy when it comes to rotaries as i've never dealt with one before...
OK maybe he doesn't tune them anymore :D
Would have been my first choice too though..
