I admire the engineering and skill involved in getting something like that to work, but what is it with Americans and sticking LSx engines in EVERYTHING?

fak, given the amount of shit in a WRX engine bay and the size of a LS1, looks pretty neat really. Impressive!

what about the rb26 with the monster donk?

nice, however you'd think they would go mafless so they can put a proper filter on it, rather than the maf with a bit of mesh over it.

The Arabs are pretty bad for it as well

Dirt cheap and have heaps of potential.

its pritty cool but at the same time its not. even so there's 4 more cylinders, i wouldn't replace the boxer engine. for that money and time it would've taken to put that LS in, better to mod the boxer hard

not really
motor costs you fark all
and its probably likely that some shop over there is making conversion kits for all sorts of stuff now, so it could well be a bolt up affair.

Making the sort of power that an LSx will churn out with cam/tune/bolt ons on an ej20 will be impossible/expensive

I do agree though, kind of ruins the spirit of the car.

Ls2 in a 350z makes sense to me - replaces the weak offering Nissan gave - still Na, V-configuration and RWD

This loses the 4wd, the turbo punch, the sound. Not my cup of tea.

lets not confuse nissan with the butchering that renault are doing.

They got the 350 so wrong, but the R35 so right. Wierdos

i guess if its become "cheapish" to do then yeh but do it to a different car. i agree with TJ on the 350Z. if you wanted to do that kind of conversion, use that car.
